Basquesse designs, manufactures and retails its garments in Wellington, New Zealand using local staff and contractors as required. Besides creating our in-house and wholesale seasonal ranges, we create one-off, bespoke-design pieces for special occasions: red carpet, bridal, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, gowns for school balls.
Basquesse brings European styling and classical glamour to women. Often described as exquisite, unique, attainable and highly wearable, Basquesse stocks its own locally-conceived and created label and garments from other leading NZ and Australian designers.
Basquesse clothing is primarily aimed at women aged 25 - 45. However, some of our customers are as young as 16 and others are fashion-conscious women 65 years young. It's not uncommon for us to serve two generations of women in the same family - something which gives us great satisfaction. It also makes it easy if you're purchasing from us bridal, mother of the bride and bridesmaid outfits for the whole event !
